Our client was:
- Rhode Island Volkswagen dealership seeking to develop a unique branding campaign for an internet web series.
- Scott Volkswagen required a memorable conceptual theme to entertain and engage viewers.
- Production value must be very high quality should client wish to promote series on cable television.
Challenges
The challenges facing us were in:
- Developing a creative concept to appeal to the Volkswagen buyer while setting Scott Volkswagen apart from other dealers.
- Creating a storyline that allowed for variation and longevity to extend the series for an indefinite period.
- Avoiding a "shock value" campaign that creates short term attention and long term negative associations.
Actions
The actions we took to address these challenges were:
- Worked with Scott Volkswagen owner to develop a concept consistent with his objectives.
- Drafted script, story-boarded concept, created props, and wrote and recorded background music.
- Worked to develop and refine concept and filmed the HD commercial during hours convenient to dealership.
Results
Our actions resulted in:
- Owner described the resulting commercial as "hilarious," and approved two additional episodes.
- Scott Volkswagen employees said it, "Looks like it's part of a national Volkswagen ad campaign."

Our client was:
- A developer of a plastic bottle recycling process in need of a video overview to educate and inspire investors.
- Plasticycle sought a short video to demonstrate how the company makes its environmentally responsible product.
- Resulting production needed for use online and DVD format for meetings, presentations and mailings.
Challenges
The challenges facing us were in:
- Condensing a great deal of technical information into a short form video format.
- Completing the project in a limited time frame of less than two weeks.
